Owen Cole Steps Up in 2027 with Modern Adventure Pro Cycling
Modern Adventure Pro Cycling is pleased to announce the signing of American rider Owen Cole from 2027. The 22-year-old from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, joins the team after continuing to establish himself as one of American cycling’s promising young talents.
Cole’s results include a second-place finish in the U.S. U23 time trial national championships and second overall at the 2026 Redlands Bicycle Classic. He previously won the U.S. U23 road race national title in 2023 and most recently claimed overall victory at the 2026 Tour de la Guadeloupe, where he also won the young rider classification. His results across time trials, road races, and stage races are testament to Cole’s versatility and strengths across a range of racing formats, something that both he and the team are keen to develop as he takes the next step in his career to the professional ranks.
Owen Cole: “Joining this team as an American feels extra special. Not only is it an organization I think can take me to the next level, it is a project I look forward to being able to say I was a part of.”
Modern Adventure Pro Cycling co-founder, George Hincapie: “We're excited to welcome Owen Cole to the team. He's a talented young rider with a bright future, and we're excited to help him develop. Supporting young, talented American riders is important to us and part of our mission, and we look forward to helping Owen reach the highest level of the sport.”
