Jonas Rutsch Joins Modern Adventure Pro Cycling
Modern Adventure Pro Cycling is pleased to announce the signing of German rider Jonas Rutsch, who will bring valuable experience and strength to the team.
At 28 years old and having spent seven years racing at WorldTour level, Rutsch adds a wealth of experience to the squad, both on and off the bike. A proven rider for the toughest one-day races, with a palmares that includes a sixth place at last year’s Paris Roubaix, his experience will add depth to the squad, especially during the Classics, as Modern Adventure Pro Cycling continues to build toward its long-term ambitions.
Jonas Rutsch: “From the outside, and after talking with people inside the team, they seem to combine a really professional way of working and a great atmosphere. Furthermore, the whole project is set up with a clear long-term vision. They’ve already made big steps despite only being around for a year, and I hope that I can support the team with my experience, especially in the spring classics, to chase those long-term goals.”
Modern Adventure Pro Cycling co-founder, George Hincapie: “We're thrilled to welcome Jonas to Modern Adventure. He's built for races like Paris-Roubaix and the classics and he brings a whole new level of experience to our team. I truly believe he will flourish in our program and reach new levels of success with us, and I can't wait to see what we accomplish together this season.”
