Josh Burnett Joins Modern Adventure Pro Cycling

Modern Adventure Pro Cycling is pleased to announce the signing of New Zealand rider Josh Burnett from 2027.

Burnett arrives with a proven ability to deliver across multi-day races. In 2026, he claimed overall victory at the Baku–Khankendi Azerbaijan Cycling Race, winning the final stage along the way. He also finished runner-up in the New Zealand elite road race championships and seventh overall at the Tour de Langkawi.

A strong climber with experience competing for general classification results, Burnett will give Modern Adventure Pro Cycling another option in stage races and add depth to the team’s ambitions in the mountains.

Josh Burnett: “I’ve really admired how the team has raced together this season. I’m really looking forward to being part of it, and I already have some good friends on the team, so racing alongside them is definitely going to be fun.”

Modern Adventure Pro Cycling co-founder, George Hincapie: “Josh brings another boost to our climbing talents. His win in Azerbaijan this season showed what he can do over a stage race, and we’re excited to add another rider who can be competitive in the mountains and give us more options in GC. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can achieve with us next season.”
